The maisonette attic apartment with its atypical layout evokes the idea of a painter's studio environment. This feeling is enhanced by the distinctive colour combination of the radiant yellow colour accent, which the whole area of the glass-walled bathroom is emerged in, the roughcast walls in the natural shade of the render contrasting with the dark brown, stained overlay flooring and the colour of the unconventionally treated concrete plywood. The space of the entrance storey begins with a large hall with a separate toilet and a bathroom. The hall smoothly follows to the main lounge with a fitted kitchen. One of the very distinctive features of the apartment is the black steel staircase leading to the attic of the flat whose floor is from clear glass. This is a visual connection between both storeys, allowing the sun shining through the roof lights to brighten both storeys at the same time.
On the first floor, there is a closed sleeping room, and the rest of the open gallery can be used as a small workroom and storage space.
The apartment is fitted with a washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, oven, ceramic cooktop, intercom and WIFI.
The light of the sun rays brightening the whole apartment through the roof lights is also strongly supported by the yellow colour in the glass-walled bathroom, creating an impression of an ever-lasting sun.
The gentle motif of flattering butterflies, which first appeared on the entrance gate to the whole house, also permeates both of the attic apartments as a soft counterweight to the expression of the crude materials used.
